QUARTIERS À DÉCOUVRIR

Georgetown

Maisons pittoresques alignées et rues pavées donnent le ton à ce charmant quartier, favori des touristes et de la population locale. C’est aussi un paradis du shopping, avec M Street qui offre à la fois des grandes marques et des designers haut de gamme.

U Street

Ce quartier vivant pourrait être considéré comme la partie de DC qui ne dort jamais. En tant que plaque tournante de la vie nocturne, les lieux de musique sont nombreux. C’est même le lieu de naissance du célèbre musicien de jazz Duke Ellington, et il est imprégné de l’héritage afro-américain.

Adams Morgan

Capitol Riverfront

Southwest Waterfront

Une grande partie de l’activité ici se concentre sur l’eau, des croisières fluviales aux restaurants en bordure d’eau. Un effort de revitalisation a apporté le développement de The Wharf, une destination vibrante pour la restauration et le divertissement.

Le National Mall

Ce parc national qui s’étend du Capitole au Lincoln Memorial, « le Mall », abrite plusieurs édifices emblématiques tels que le Monument de Washington et le Mémorial de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale.
