Historic Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore is the second oldest racetrack in the US and has been host to the Preakness Stakes since its inception more than 140 years ago. Legendary horses such as Man O’ War, Sea Biscuit, War Admiral and Secretariat have all run this course in their race for the Triple Crown. Preakness Celebration features a series of events scheduled throughout the week leading up to race day including jockey autograph sessions, morning tours of the course, and Infield Fest, a day-long race day party featuring live performances by international superstars.

2021 Event Update

The 146th running of the $1 million Preakness Stakes will take place on 15 May as part of an incredible weekend featuring the finest contenders in Thoroughbred horse racing who will compete for a total of $3.25 million in purse winnings. As the second jewel of the coveted Triple Crown, the Preakness returns as an entirely re-imagined entertainment and curated hospitality experience inclusive of COVID-19 protocols.
