The Embassy of Portugal has the pleasure to invite you to an exhibition of works by Maria Helena Vieira da Silva. This exhibition provides a glimpse at the work of Maria Helena Vieira da Silva, one of the most significant Portuguese artists of the 20th century, with paintings and one Portalegre tapestry, from the collections of the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Gulbenkian Museum, in Lisbon. Vieira da Silva was one of the leaders of the “abstract landscaping” movement and known for her compositions with fleeting perspectives.
